Summer 2009
- Festival fever will hit Kingston this July with the opening of the
first International Youth Arts Festival. The packed programme includes
local, national and international groups, from the spectacular, spear-carrying
Zulu Warriors of South Africa, to the festival’s own enchanting
production of Pendragon – a musical based on the early years
of King Arthur featuring a talented cast of young local actors. Created
by young people to showcase the very best in youth arts, there's a
fantastic choice of activities and shows for people of all ages to
enjoy with comedy, dance, storytelling, puppetry, band nights, vocal
and instrumental ensembes and innovative theatre all represented.
