• Ensure you have installed the latest, Census-ready, version of your Management Information System. Please check with your local MIS support team if in doubt.

• Complete any Attendance details for pupil aged 5 to15 inclusive who were on-roll for at least one session during the period 24/03/2008 to 23/05/2008 inclusive.

• Ensure any Part-Time pupils who are now Full-Time are recorded in the correct year and have their part-time history updated with the end date.

• Input Exclusions for the period 1/01/2008 to 23/3/2008 have been recorded.

• Information is required on the Learning Aims studied by students in Year 12 and above, regardless of their age; and by students in Year 11 or below who are studying towards a level 3 qualification.

• 
  This information is collected for all relevant students registered at the school and for students no longer on-roll who were on the school roll for at least one session between the current and previous census days. This may include students who have left school prior to the census day.
  
  Each student may have a number of learning aims. For each learning aim, six data items are to be collected:

  䀂 Learning Aim Start Date
  䀂 Learning Aim Planned End Date
  䀂 Learning Aim Actual End Date
  䀂 Learning Aim Completion Status
  䀂 Discount code

• Carry out a Dry Run of the Autumn Census to identify any potential errors or omissions.
