From 19 April 2010 a 'salary sacrifice' tax exempt 'Cycle to Work' scheme for staff is being introduced. The scheme will provide substantial cost savings and promote increased bicycle use leading to environmental improvements, and a healthier workforce. This new scheme supersedes the interest-free bike loan mentioned above, which will cease to be available from 1 April 2010.
