Congratulations to all teams, who played with excellent spirit. This was one of the most successful KPSSA competitions - 24 schools took part, a great credit to the organisers. Thanks to Fulham FC for their participation. Please continue to support the hard work of the KPSSA in their aim to bring sport to every primary school pupil in the borough. Competitions like this show it is a desirable and achievable goal.

Kingston 5-a-side Rules.

Enjoy an afternoon of good quality football.
Remember you are representing your school.
All teams to shake hands before and after matches.

1) Each team will play 3 matches lasting 6 mins each in Finals. The runners up of each group will play for 3rd and 4th place and the winners of each group will play in the Final.
2) Every game will be started and finished by ref's whistle.
3) No player is allowed inside the area, either attacker or defender, except for the goalkeeper.
4) No player may kick the ball over head height. If the ball rebounds off a player the free-kick will be given against the player who the ball touches before it goes above head height.
5) No pass-backs to the goalkeeper. The goalie must throw the ball out to play. There are no off sides.
6) One substitution is allowed during the game, unless an injury occurs.
7) All free-kicks are indirect, even if a defending player enters his own goalkeeper's area.
8) 3 Points for a win. 1 Point for a draw.
9) If at the end of the groups there are two teams who are level on points, then the team that has scored the most goals will go through. If the two teams are still level on goals scored then goal difference will apply. If this is the same, then the result between the two teams will decide the higher position.In the Final a play-off with golden goal will take place if the match is a draw, after 4 minutes of play the game will be settled on penalties (5 each, then alternate penalties until there is a clear winner).
10) No child will be allowed to compete without shinpads.
11) The referee’s decision is final.
