The Rules

1.                   All players must be in Year 3 or Year 4 on the day of the tournament.

2.                 Each team will consist of 6 players on the pitch from a maximum of 10 players in a squad. There are unlimited substitutions which may take place at any time during the game.

3.                 Games will last 12 minutes (6 minutes each way). There will be no additional time for injuries etc.

4.                 All free kicks are direct

5.                 The ball may go above head height but if the ball goes above the height of the surrounding fence, a free kick will be awarded.

6.                 Goalkeepers may not touch the ball outside their area.

7.                 No player may touch the ball in the goal area. Players will not be penalised for entering the area but if a defender touches the ball in their own area, a penalty will be awarded. If an attacking player touches the ball in the opposition area, a goal kick will be awarded

8.                 There will be no corners or throw-ins. In the event that the ball leaves the playing area the game will be restarted with a goal kick or a kick from the sideline.

9.                 3 points will be awarded for a win, 1 point for a draw. The team with the highest points total will win the league. In the event of a tie the league will be decided on goal difference and then on fair play points

10.              The referee will award up to 5 Fair Play points per team in each match. The team with the highest fair play points in all 4 leagues will win the Fair Play trophy.

11.               The decision of the referee and organiser is final on all matters.
