Football Festival 2006
Year 5 Six-a-side

Tuesday 16th May 2006
at Goals Soccer Centre, Beverley Way, New Malden

WINNING TEAMS

League 1: St Agatha's
League 2: Latchmere
League 3: St Paul's (Chess)

The following schools took part:
Ellingham - Ian Jones
Moor Lane - Neil Meehan
OLI - Martin Brannigan
St Agathas - James Ross
Corpus Christi - Bernard Cairns
St Mary's - Paul Taylor
Fern Hill - Adam Scott
St Paul's (Kingston) - Sandra Blenkinsop
St Joseph's -
King Athelsan - Howard Nicholson
St Paul's (Chessington) - Chris Dickson
Christ Church Junior - Paul Longstone
Latchmere - Kevin Hogston

The tournament will start at 2pm. Schools will need to be there at least 15 minutes prior to the start of the tournament so that it can run a smoothly as possible.

Unfortunately I can only have one team per school due to the number of schools entering and the limitations on pitches we can hire.

It has been organised as a boy’s tournament, however should schools wish to include girls in their team it will not be a problem. Squads should be of no more than 10; any schools’ wishing to bring less is also not a problem.

All children playing will need to wear shin pads. They must also wear plastic studded boots or trainers. Any metal studded boots will not be allowed onto the pitches.

Schools will be put into groups on the day and play a round robin competition with the other schools in their group. Schools will be grouped by number of children on the role. Each group winner will receive a trophy. There will be no play off with teams from other groups
